Mae and Gavin live and work in both Sioux Falls and Gregory, appreciating their ties to each vibrant community. Mae and Gavin first connected as competitors on the golf course, but found they work well together as a team. They are married and have two beloved dogs, Cash and Banjo. The pair started Buffalo Grass Real Estate as an avenue to combine their expertise in and appreciation for real estate.
Gavin
Gavin primarily focuses on agricultural land transactions and assists clients with land development plans. Gavin grew up in Gregory, South Dakota, where he appreciated learning from his grandfathers about farming, ranching, and commercial pheasant hunting operations. He attended the University of South Dakota and earned bachelor degrees in History, English, and Native American Studies. After undergrad, Gavin stayed in Vermillion and earned his law degree.
He is a South Dakota licensed real estate broker and member of the Central South Dakota REALTOR® Association. He is also admitted to practice law in South Dakota and the U.S. Federal District Court for the District of South Dakota.
Mae
Mae helps a range of clients navigate the real estate market in Sioux Falls and surrounding areas. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School. After high school she competed on the golf team at Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated with a degree in Financial Economics. She returned to South Dakota to attend law school in Vermillion, SD, and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
